Volunteering
Thousands of alumni have had a wonderful experience at Swansea and would like to give something back to the University. Volunteering is the perfect way to do so and can make a real difference.
Here are some of the ways you can get involved:
- Be an inspiration to prospective and current students by providing career information for a case study or profile to be published on-line or in one of our prospectuses
- Become an international alumni ambassador
- Organise or host a reunion or other event
- Become a career mentor for a current student or a recent graduate. Your experiences can provide relevant and realistic advice for students considering a career in your field and you’ll be making a real difference to their prospects
- Provide an internship through your company which will help students to enhance their global employability through undertaking a work placement in an international company. We’d be delighted to hear from you if you – or any alumni you know – may be able to offer a placement to one of our current students.
- Support scholarship programmes through financial donations. Find out more
By giving your time as an alumni volunteer, you can share your knowledge, expertise and experiences in ways that benefit both the University and the current generation of students. Anyone can become a volunteer. All we ask is for volunteers to be dedicated and willing to help. For further information and to offer your support, contact the Alumni Office today.
