Swansea University’s campus location means that overnight accommodation is just a short walk of no more than 300 metres from the main conference and catering venues.
A variety of styles ensures that there is a choice of rooms to match most needs, from superior en-suite bedrooms for conferences and groups, through to self-catering bedrooms and non ensuite bedrooms for social and sports events.
Campus accommodation available during the summer vacation includes 544 ensuite rooms that have been rated 4*Campus by Visit Wales, and 580 3*Campus rooms. Just short of 800 bedrooms are ensuite. At Easter there is a variable number of bedrooms available, normally about 300. The non ensuite bedrooms are in four blocks that comprise approximately 380 rooms sharingon average two shower and wc rooms between five bedrooms.
All bedrooms have a telephone, activated by using cards purchased from University outlets. Wireless internet is also available if booked in advance.
Many of the bedrooms have also been adapted to suit the needs of disabled delegates.
Two miles to the northwest of the campus are the Hendrefoelan self-catering apartments, situated in a pleasant, wooded valley. Approximately 500 rooms are available for self catering events and holiday bookings over the summer period, ranging in size from four-bed apartments to 10-bed houses.
