Superb location in beautiful parkland
What first strikes visitors to the University is the approach to the campus along Mumbles Road, with stunning views across Swansea Bay, the headland of Mumbles and out to sea across the Bristol Channel to Ilfracombe.

The campus has the beach on its doorstep and rolling parkland to mark its boundaries. You could easily mistake the location as a country estate rather than an integral part of the second city of Wales. Within ten minutes walk are the City’s Botanical Gardens, the University’s top class Sports Centre and over three miles of sandy beach. Just about everything you need for a successful event is close at hand on our compact and attractive campus, where meeting rooms, bedrooms, catering and social space are conveniently located, usually no more than 250 metres apart.

Swansea is easily accessible by rail and car, with a direct main line rail service from London Paddington to Swansea High Street Station and easy well signed access from Junction 42 of the M4. Cardiff International Airport can be reached by train, changing at Cardiff Central or Bridgend. Alternatively, a minibus service can be arranged for specific flights with a journey time, door to door, of about an hour.
The campus is about two miles from the city centre. There are excellent bus and taxi services to and from the city, normally taking no more than 15 minutes. You can drive to the beautiful Gower Peninsula, the first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the UK also in 15 minutes.
