Fun Day Saturday 3rd May 2003 11am-3pm.

This event aims to raise money for The Nile Cycle Challenge which is raising funds for two causes. One is for an out reach programme of workshops held at the Egypt Centre for children in Swansea and the second is for the Sunshine Home for abandoned children in Luxor (money will be split 50-50). We are hoping the Fun-day will be as successful as last years, which was opened by Emma Nehemiah from the New Opportunites Funding and Eve Lawton from Sunshine (see pic below).

Last years event raised a staggering £2500.00 on the day.

At the Fun-Day there will be lots of fun activities and goodies such as bang-a-balloon!, face painting, a dance mat competition, childrens film show, home made cakes, Name the Pyramid, Find the Scarabs, Lucky Dips, Bowling alley competition and much much more.

There will also be raffles and an auction of some amazing prizes donated by local companies. So far the companies that have donated help and prizes with the 2003 Fun-day are:
