Summer Programmes

Where can you go?

The International Development Office offer students the opportunity to gain valuable experience abroad on one of our summer programmes. These programmes are suitable to all level 1 and level 2 students from all degree disciplines. Masters students are able to apply subject to approval from your supervisor.

Application deadline:

The IDO are still accepting applications for the USA, China, India and European programmes. Please email studyabroad@swansea.ac.uk for more information.

Please note: The IDO are no longer accepting applications for the Japan and Zambia summer programmes.

China

Spend a month at a Chinese University this summer learning mandarin and experiencing Chinese culture.

India

Take part in a three week programme in Bangalore. Attend lectures, learn yoga and visit Mysore, Anekal and Solur.

Rest of the World

The Research Institute for the Arts and Humanities have launched their Heritage Skills programme which includes national and international placements. Find out more here.
