Book Fetching Service 

We can arrange to transport books between the Library & Information Centre (Singleton Campus), the South Wales Miners' Library (Hendrefoelan Campus) and Banwen Library if you are unable to visit the library where the item is held. This service can take up to 48 hours upon receipt of request, except for Banwen Library which may take up to one week.

You may make your request in person, by phone or by email. Please have the following information ready: name; student id; title, call number; prefered pick-up.

Photocopy Service 

Journal articles and extracts from books can be photocopied for you (subject to copyright law).

The charge for this is 10p per A4 sheet and 20p per A3 sheet. The photocopies can be collected from any Swansea University Library Issue Desk. Photocopies can be posted to you. You will be charged the cost of posting. Postage is charged at standard rates. Photocopied articles are normally available within 48 hours; under Copyright regulaltions we are unable to process your request until we receive your signed copyright declaration form.

To request photocopies of journal articles or extracts of books held in the library, please print out the DALLAS Request Form, fill it in (one for each item) and post it to :

Postal Loans

Any loanable book from ISS stock can be posted to you. You will be charged postage (parcel post rates) to the address you specify. The charge is added to your library record and you should pay this charge by post or when you next visit the library. (N.B. If your charges reach £10, your account will be disabled, and you will be unable to request or renew.)

Document Supply (Inter-Library Loans)
