Key Resources for Health Sciences

As a student, staff or researcher of the College of Human and Health Sciences, you will need to search for information and clinical evidence on a variety of topics.  This information can be found in the Library’s print collection or online through our databases, e-journal collections or on the Web.  Please click on the buttons below to find out how to search for, and access, these sources of information.  

The Library’s catalogue, iFind discover (Swansea) or HIP (Trinity Saint David), contains a record of our print collection, as well as what we subscribe to online. 

Citation databases are used when you want to see if there are any articles written about the topic you are researching.

Online journals (e-journals) contain the full-text of journals which we subscribe to in electronic format.  You can select a specific journal or search across large bundles of journals.

There are various web portals for healthcare which will make your search on the Web a more effective one.
