The IT Awareness & Training section of Information Services & Systems (ISS) offer a bank of resources to enable Swansea University staff and students to upgrade their IT skills.  The resources below cover a broad spectrum of learning styles:

  There are many different methods of upgrading IT skills, some people prefer interactive multimedia while others prefer using a manual based approach.

  Staff & students can download for free a selection software application manuals.

• ICT Guides 
  It is essential that you have security software on your home pc, for further information click for a list of available ICT Guides.

• Free Online Learning Resources
  A web search can reveal organisations which provide free online learning for example;  

• ALISON -  online IT courses for FREE but users are required to register.  For a list of courses offered, to register and for further information visit the Alison website.
• TONIC - A free easy-to-understand, practical guide to using the Internet produced by Netskills, although free, users have to register.  For further information and to register visit the TONIC webpages.
