Part-time study:

The MBA at Swansea University is a twelve month  full-time programme. Part 1, from October to May consists of two Semesters covering the following taught courses:

  • Managing Finance
  • Managing People
  • Managing Markets
  • Managing Processes
  • Management Skills
  • Strategic Case Analyses
  • Two Elective Modules
  • Report Preparation

Part 2 of the programme from June to October provides the opportunity for a more customized exploration of your interests through two managerial reports. One of these reports will focus on an analysis of skills and competencies while the other will provide the opportunity for an in-depth analysis of a company or organization.

Standard Entry requirements

To study for the MBA you will need to have an initial degree, at least two years relevant work experience and, if English is not your mother tongue, an English level of 6.5 IELTS or equivalent. The University has a full range of pre-sessional language programmes available to assist those students that need to improve their English level. Mature non-graduates will be considered positively.

Scholarships and Bursaries

From time to time the School and the University awards a limited number of research studentships (MPhil/PhD). Home and overseas students are also encouraged to apply for research studentships and grants from other research institutions and funding bodies.
