There is a vibrant research environment for the discipline of politics and international relations in the School of Arts and Humanities.

Scholars are also involved in the Centre for the Study of Culture and Politics, and the Callaghan Centre for the Study of Conflict.
Researchers are involved in organising a range of ongoing research events including international conferences and regular research seminars. Conferences are frequently held at Gregynog.
