Dr Davide Deganello

Dr. Davide Deganello is a lecturer in the College of Engineering, Swansea University. Research interests comprise complex fluids rheology (including extensional flows and wetting phenomena), micro-manufacturing by printing of functional devices for organic electronic & biomedical applications, CFD of complex fluids and systems (including free-surface flows and particle laden fluids) and micro-surface metrology. He has been involved in several industrial research projects (DIPLE, Fast2Light).
Davide has a PhD in Engineering from Swansea University and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Padova (Italy). He is chartered with the Italian Engineering Association.
Davide is faculty advisor for the Swansea University team in Formula Student, the “Swansea University Race Engineering”, a student project to design, build and race a formula one style racing car.
