Where we are and what we do

The Academic Office for Postgraduate Research is part of the Academic Registry, and is located in the Abbey Stable Block behind the Abbey Building at the east end of the campus (nearest the town centre).  This office is responsible for all post-enrolment postgraduate research level administration for those undertaking research degrees. This includes:

  • administrative support for the Academic Board (Postgraduate Research);
  • co-ordination of research student progression monitoring, recording of thesis submission and research degree results;
  • provision of publications such as the Research Student Handbook (available on registered students' Blackboard Research Skills account).

OPENING HOURS

Monday-Friday 10.00 am – 4.00 pm, except during the Christmas closure period.
