The students of the School of Business and Economics contribute extensively to the life of the University in general and to the School in particular. The long established Business & Economics Society arranges a variety of events each year, including the major Christmas 'black tie' Christmas Ball held at the Brangwyn Hall.

At a University level a wide range of Clubs and Societies operate under the auspices of the student union.
