Research Interests:
Kate’s main areas of research are productivity and competitiveness. Kate’s research has looked at the impact of a variety of factors such as foreign direct investment, technology, skills and innovation on the productive performance of firms and industrial sectors. Her research comprises of international comparisons of largely sectoral performance, and microeconometric analysis of UK firms.
