Chemical Engineering at Swansea has received the ‘Excellent’ teaching quality rating in the national Teaching Quality Assessment.
Our schemes provide knowledge of physical, chemical and biological processes and encourage development of the analytical and creative skills necessary for the economic and safe design, safe operation and management of process facilities.
We welcome applications from international students to either level 1 or 2. Those who have completed an equivalent Level 1 accredited scheme in Chemical Engineering with a minimum score of 55% will be eligible for direct entry to Level 2 of the BEng schemes with the option to transfer to the MEng scheme at Level 3.
Typical A level offers for our scheme are: MEng – 300 tariff points; BEng – 260 tariff points.
You will need Mathematics and Chemistry components within post-16 qualifications, preferably at A level or equivalent. If you do not have the necessary grades, our four-year integrated scheme (H833) will allow you access to our degrees.
