Assessment

All modules (except those at Level 1 for beginners) are taught through the medium of Welsh, chiefly by means of lectures or a combination of lectures and seminars. Teaching sessions at all levels are often supported with audio-visual material in various formats. Students are required to attend all workshops, seminars and lectures attached to the modules taken, and all will undertake regular private study sessions in the library. Assessment methods include regular written tasks in the form of essays, dissertation, folio work and exercises (especially in the language, translation and creative modules), and oral tests.
