The cost of student accomodation.
Swansea University operates an Accommodation Guarantee for new students who have chosen Swansea University as their firm choice with UCAS. There is a range of Accommodation to suit all students and all budgets with rooms on campus and at the Hendrefoelan Student Village a short distance away. There is also a choice between a part-catered (breakfast) and self-catered, which also has an impact on the costs.
As accommodation is the single most costly aspect of a student’s budget each year, Swansea University takes great pride in the fact that it offers some of the most competitively priced accommodation in the UK, much of which is within walking distance of the beach!
In addition, the residence fees at University-owned properties (not University Managed properties) include not only all utility costs, but also the provision of a phone and access to the University's Wireless Internet system.
So - apart from food - you’ll have no other payments to make. Ultimately, the costs will depend upon you, your preferences and your choice, but you have many options as to costs. Options can be found here.
