Swansea University has a wide range of expertise in such areas as languages, in particular, the Welsh language, media, communications, public relations, translation and interpreting and teaching English as a foreign language. We work closely with cultural and professional organisations and it is these relationships that help to ensure our research and teaching is at the forefront of its field. Our training and education is supported by outstanding facilities which include creative media suite, language laboratories and conference interpreting booths and a well-established tradition of working with the wider community.
