HRH Prince Turki Bin Mohammed Bin Nasser Abdulaziz Al-Saud

Prince Turki is a major figure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030 Economic strategy. 

HRH Prince Turki Bin Naser Bin Mohamad Bin Naser Abdulaziz Al-SaudHe was born and raised in Riyadh and graduated in Press and Media from King Saud University, KSA going on to earn a Master’s in Business Administration from Santa Clara University in California.  He started his career as Director of International Affairs in the Ministry of Industry and Electricity (MCI). Since 2002, he has served as MCI’s Head of International Affairs. He is a major figure in the development of the KSA 2030 strategy and represents Saudi Arabia at international annual meetings including those of the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation, the World Trade Organisation and the International Monetary Fund.  

The Prince is connected to the School of Management at Swansea University via the PhD students of Professor Nick Rich and through work previously conducted by Professor Rich with the Al-Nayahan Royal family of the Emirates.  The Prince has invited the University to help work to implement the 2030 vision for KSA and views the University as a valuable ally in achieving this vision and helping Saudi citizens engage with high status and meaningful employment.

On receiving his award, HRH Prince Turki said: “I am absolutely delighted to have received this award from Swansea University. It is a real honour and privilege to work with a truly world-class institution that serves nations’ future leaders and communities with such passion.
