College of Human and Health Sciences
The College of Human and Health Sciences draws together the disciplines of health, nursing, midwifery, social care, social policy and psychology.
We are the largest provider of health care education in Wales, providing an exciting and dynamic environment in which to study and further an academic or professional career.
Our mission is to conduct high quality international research that meets the needs of the people of south-west Wales and beyond.
Unlike in England, where NHS bursaries covering tuition fees are no longer available, the Welsh Government has announced that those individuals who are prepared to commit to work in Wales for a specified period post qualification (two years employment for a 3 year programme) will be eligible to apply for an enhanced support package offered through the NHS Wales Bursary arrangements.
This applies to eligible healthcare programme in Wales commencing September 2017 and spring 2018.
Courses covered: BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing, BSc (Hons) Child Nursing, BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing, BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science, BMid Midwifery and Dip HE Paramedic Science.
