Latest figures released by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) show another rise in the percentage of Swansea graduates in jobs after they leave, with the rate now at almost 95%.

Each year HESA assesses what graduates are doing 6 months following graduation. In the latest figures, the percentage of Swansea University full-time first degree leavers (i.e. those who were undergraduates who graduated in 2013/14) who are in employment or further study rose from 93.6% to 94.8%.

These figures show the continued upward trajectory in graduate employability for Swansea University students.  Swansea is a Top 20 UK University for graduate employment.

‌‌Professor Hilary Lappin-Scott, Senior Pro Vice Chancellor at Swansea University, commented:

"These latest figures confirm that Swansea University is going from strength to strength in creating opportunities for our students, and are a testament to the dedication of our talented staff.

Significant investment in the University’s Employability Academy over the past 4 years has ensured that our degree schemes and student experiences, such as meaningful work placements and student-led networking events, are delivering what employers are looking for."
