'Spies and Troublemakers - the Anti-War movement in Wales during the Great War’ – a public lecture by Aled Eirug Davies at Swansea University.

Spies and Troublemakers in South Wales - Aled Eirug tells the story of how British intelligence agencies targeted peace and labour activists in South Wales during the First World War.

This lecture describes the extent of the anti-war movement in Wales and reveals the activities of police and intelligence agents to repress and persecute these activists.

The lecture is sponsored by the Learned Society of Wales as part of its Wales Studies project in association with the Research Institute for Arts and Humanities, Swansea University.
