Swansea University has won Public Sector Fleet of the Year (Small – Medium) Category at this year’s Green Fleet Awards 2017.

Greenfleet AwardsThe Awards, held last month, brought together leaders of the fleet and motor industries to celebrate the work done over the past year to reduce the environmental impacts of fleet and promote the zero and ultralow-emission technology available.

Twenty awards were presented to organisations and individuals in recognition of their contribution to green road transport and environmental fleet management.

The vehicles – cars, vans and people-carriers – are used by different branches of the University, such as Information Services and Systems, Catering services, the University mailroom, the College of Engineering, the student letting service (SAS), and the SPECIFIC project.
