Swansea University computer science researchers win award

In recognition of their contribution to research two Swansea University computer science researchers have been presented with the Best Paper Award at an international computer science conference.

PhD student Matthew Gwynne and Senior Lecturer Dr Oliver Kullmann were praised at the International Conference on Current Trends in Theory and Practice of Computer Science (SOFSEM 2013) for their contribution to research which focussed on producing new perspectives and new ideas for finding solutions for logical equations.  

SOFSEM (SOFtware SEMinar) is the annual international winter conference devoted to the theory and practice of computer science. Its aim is to present the latest developments in research for professionals from academia and industry, working in leading areas of computer science.
