The first in the series of free community lectures for 2015-6 organised by Swansea University’s Department of Adult Continuing Education (DACE), College of Arts and Humanities, will take place on Wednesday 21st October.

Lecture:A safe journey home: ensuring comfort and dignity at the end of life

Speaker: Kiera Jones

Kiera Jones, a palliative care nurse, soul midwife and end of life companion, will provide an interaction session exploring the concept of a ’good death’ and how we might all take a more active role in achieving this for ourselves and others.
