Professor Heaven Crawley has spoken at the first National Conference on Migration to Wales.
The Evening Post reports that Professor Crawley spoke at the conference about the historical context of migration to Wales and recent demographic changes including the dispersal of asylum seekers to Cardiff and Swansea.
The conference also saw the launch of a new Wales Migration Portal commissioned by the Wales Migration Partnership and developed by the Local Government Data Unit.
Professor Crawley also appeared on the BBC Radio Wales Sunday Supplement programme. The discusison with the AMs can be found at around 25 minutes in.
