    Green issues are becoming increasingly important for business. The course aims to study the drivers and opportunities for businesses to improve their environmental performance. A broad range of environmental management issues are examined, both from the viewpoint of the current status and future development, and these are illustrated using appropriate case histories.

  • PM-M23 Introduction to Bioinformatics

    This module will provide a general introduction to the mainstream techniques and applications of bioinformatics. The student will be introduced to the concepts of acquiring and analysing biomolecular data using public resources and tools with a focus on biomedicine and nanotechnology.The student will also be taught basic programming skills which are fundamental to bioinformatics.

    This module will explore the range of frameworks governing regulation and standards in Life Science. Students will be introduced to the processes and strategic approaches associated with the global market place for of regulating and ensuring standards, with applications to their selected specialisms. Five specialisations are available: - Healthcare Services Management - Informatics - Medical Manufacturing - Medical Technology - Reconstructive and Regenerative Medicine through the specialism-specific specification of assignment (white paper assignment on a theme relevant to the chosen specialism) and its preparation and assessment.
