Applying for 2023 entry - Timeline

Mid-September

Applications can be sent to UCAS from mid-September.

29 October & 19 November

Swansea University Open Days.

15 October

Deadline for UCAS to receive applications for Graduate Entry Medicine.

25 January

Application deadline for UCAS to receive applications for all courses to be given equal consideration.

In practice, Swansea will accept late applications throughout the rest of the application year, however some courses will become full at this point and we can’t guarantee that they will be given the same level of consideration as applications received by 25 January.  Check UCAS Course Search for the latest information on which courses are still taking applications.

November - March

Interviews take place. You may be made an offer and then invited to attend an Open Day, or you may be invited for an interview before a decision is made on your application.

23 February

If you are eligible to use Extra, you can refer yourself to another choice.

25 February & 25 March

Swansea University Open Days

18 May

If you submitted your application by 25th January, you will be able to decide on who your firm and insurance choices should be.

8 June

Deadline by which you should have decided who your firm and insurance choices should be.

Early May - 30 June

If you have accepted our offer, Residential Services will email you with details of how to apply for accommodation. If you apply before 30 June, you will be guaranteed a place in University accommodation.

30 June

The last date that you can apply to UCAS. Applications received after this date are entered into Clearing.

4 July

This is the last date to apply through Extra.

5 July
