Rated as excellent by several external assessment bodies for its teaching and research, Hispanic Studies at Swansea University is the largest subject area of its kind in Wales. The most recent Teaching Quality Assessment Exercise also rated us as ‘Excellent’ for our teaching, administration and pastoral care of our students.

We have twelve members of staff, including four native speakers, three of them specialist in Spanish and another in teaching Spanish through the medium of Welsh.
