The UK Fluids Conference 2024 aims to bring together all those involved in fluid mechanics research in the UK. PhD students and post-doctoral researchers are encouraged to attend as well as established researchers. There will be a lively programme of invited and contributed talks, and poster sessions, to foster the sharing of ideas amongst the community.
The Conference will be held in Swansea, South Wales, at the University’s beach-side Bay Campus from 9th – 11th September.
Abstract submission is now open.
We welcome poster and oral research presentations at the conference on topics within the broad theme of fluid mechanics.
This includes, but is not limited to, aeroacoustics, non-Newtonian fluids, combustion, computational fluids dynamics, experimental aero- and hydro-dynamics, biological flows, boundary layers and complex rotating flows, flow instability, aerodynamic design, multiphase flows, turbulence, quantum fluids, particle matter filtration, turbulent heat transfer, urban fluid mechanics, uncertainty quantification and data analytics in fluid mechanics.
