In a recent announcement, Dr. Denis Dennehy has been appointed as one of the Co-Editors-in-Chief of Communications of the Association for Information Systems (CAIS).

Dr. Dennehy currently serves as an Associate Professor of Business Analytics (Research) and School Research Lead at the School of Management. His research focuses on the mediating role of emerging technologies and analytics and how they impact individuals, organisations, and society.

Throughout his career, Dr. Dennehy has designed, delivered, and evaluated information systems-related modules at various educational levels, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education programs. His areas of expertise encompass a wide range of topics such as IS innovation strategy, project and portfolio management, the business value of emerging technologies, digital transformation, supply chain management, IS for sustainable development, and research methods.

With nearly a decade of membership in the Association for Information Systems (AIS), Dr. Dennehy has actively contributed to the advancement of the field. His research findings have been published in prestigious journals, including the European Journal of Operational Research, Government Information Quarterly, IEEE Software, IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society, Information & Management, Information Systems Frontiers, Information Technology & People, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Systems & Software, and Project Management Journal.
